Your qualification will be recognised nationally.


Time Commitment/Resources:
Participants need to be self motivated and are required to attend sessions for successful achievement of the Certificate.
Some course excursions may be planned. These are an integral part of the course. Students are responsible for a portion of the cost of their involvement in excursions.
Resources for enrolled students include free computer room access for the duration of the course, including free internet and email.
Enrolment:
An information session is conducted at the start of each semester, but enquiries and applications for enrolment are available all year.

Training will be delivered on a part time basis, which is negotiated to suit student needs.
Who is this course for?
The Certificates I,II & III in General Education for Adults are aimed at adults who have left school early and are looking to study further or improve career opportunities:
• improve reading, writing, numeracy, oral communication, basic computer, job search and other relevant skills.
• an accredited qualification recognised as an entry qualification throughout Australia.
• skills to meet personal needs and social skills for community, workplace and further education and training participation.
• pathways to TAFE and further education.
 
The CGEA provides flexible and rewarding learning opportunities in a relaxed, friendly environment for self motivated students who want to enhance their skills for further study or employment.
There are no pre-requisites for entry to this course. Most students have left school early or are mature age applicants wishing to improve their fundamental skills.
