This certificate may by run in a number of ways given its flexible nature.
Whilst the bulk of the course is face to face training, it is expected that you will also seek out training opportunities to develop your skills further.
The course is designed to be as hands-on as possible and there will be plenty of opportunities to consolidate what is learnt.

Occupational Outcomes
Once successfully completed, this certificate enables students to work in a registered training organisation and/or a TAFE institute. You will have the skills to train in accredited programs in your industry area.
The units covered by the course relate directly to the vocational education system in Australia and how it is managed and implemented. You will also learn how to develop training programs and study how people learn.

• Workplace Trainer/  Assessor
• Program Manager with an RTO
• Trainer/ Assessor in an RTO
• Manager of training in industry

Enrolment:
The Information Session forms the initial stage of the enrolment process, providing an opportunity for prospective students to come along and meet some of the tutors as well as finding out more about the course, prior to enrolment. A student induction kit will be circulated to those who choose to enrol at this stage.

Fees:
Total fees in 2008 for the Certificate IV in Training & Assessment are:
• $850.00 (Tuition fee) plus $120.00 (Amenities fee) and $60.00 Resources
Part payment may be organised upon request.


Tutors:
ECEC has a bank of highly qualified industry tutors with a high standard of training education and recent or current industry experience in the training sector.

Delivery:

Who is this course for?
The Training and Assessment Training Package is designed to meet future competency development and qualification needs of new and existing staff working in a broad range of areas within education and training.
This course is ideal for anyone responsible or involved in workplace training. It is also essential for those looking at entering into a teaching role in the vocational education and training sector.
• This certificate has replaced BSZ40192 Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training.
• Upon successful completion, employment may be gained in a TAFE or other training provider.
• Provides a pathway to further study in the Education and Training and is a direct pathway to the Diploma in Training and Assessment.
• Gain the most current qualification in Vocational Education and Training
