The service offers professional free advice and referrals to small businesses, sole traders and home-based businesses with a less than q $2 million turnover in the Euroa and surrounding districts.

Small Business Advisory Service Manager Mick McInerney, from 'The Centre, your Community College' in Benalla, will be available for consultation in Euroa on Tuesdays. Although based at the Euroa Community Education Centre (ECEC) in Binney Street, Mick could also arrange an alternative location or time to suit a client better (even after hours if required).

The Small Business Advisory Service offers small or home-based businesses free advice and low cost solutions on how to develop and grow their business.
Some of the services available are:

• Mentoring for Business - advice and networking
• Business Planning Advice - how to write a better business plan through to supply chain, e-commerce and succession planning
• Marketing - how to write a simple marketing plan and identify promotional and advertising oportunities
• Government Regulation - up to date advice on all compliance and government regulatory legislation
• Staff Training programs and
• Services for Women

All of the above can include business-related seminars, workshops, one-on-one consultations, advisory and referral consultations and information packs.

"We encourage all businesses in the Euroa and the surrounding area to take advantage of this free service" Mr. McInerney said.
"If Tuesdays are not convenient, I encourage you to contact me to make alternative arrangements, at your location or ours, before or after hours."

The Centre's Small Business Advisory Service is also currently developing a series of forums on Business Planning, Marketing, Information Technology and Legal/Financial issues. This early morning seminar series is planned to run in Benalla; however, if a demand is strong enough it could run in Euroa, too.
