Farm Chemical Users' Certificate

This two-day accredited certificate course enables students in safe and correct use of agricultural chemicals. This course has become the industry standard for AgVet chemical training and provides the necessary outcomes for:

• Participation in most of the industry quality assurance programs eg. CattleCare, FlockCare, GrainCare, FreshCare, MilkCare etc
• Issue of Certificate by the Victorian Department of Primary Industry of the Agricultural Chemical Users Permit (ACUP)

• Legislation
• Pests & pest control
• Reading the label
• Selecting chemicals
• Transport & Storage
• Applying chemicals (Calibration)
• Personal protective equipment
• Emergency procedures
• Clean up & disposal

The Farm Chemical Users Certificate is a pre-requisite for anyone intending to apply for there Chemical Users permit or whose permit has expired.

20th & 21st November (Wednesday and Thursday)
