Learn how to get the most out of your digital camera! In this 4 week course you will learn everything you will ever need to know. Includes basic applications and how to create a better photo, achieving the best images from your camera, etc. Some computer knowledge is essential to get the most out of this course.

Adobe Photoshop/Photoshop Elements

Learn the basics of the above programs for working with photographic images. Learn skills that can be used to enhance and improve your digital images. a basic understanding of Windows 98/2000/XP or Macintosh OSX would be an advantage.

Advanced Migrate to New Technology

Would you like to take your digital photography skills ot an advanced level? if you have already completed Migrate to New Technology or have a sound knowledge of your camera and would like to expand your skills to the next level, then this is the course for you.
Peter Ward will take you on a journey through Photoshop where you get to manipulate and enhance your shots, you will go on an outdoor shoot where you will learn a range of skills made possible by the most recent digital workflow techniques. having acess to a digital SLR camera is recommended (but necessary) for this course.

Date: 1st, 8th, 13th(Saturday) & 15th September

Using a Digital SLR Camera
What is the point of having a professional or semi-professional camera and all you know is how to take photos on the auto setting? Want to get more out of your camera? This short course will take you to the next level.

Learn how to use your digital SLR camera like a pro.

You will learn how to use shutter priority, aperture priority, manual settings and programme modes. Gain a real understanding of metering modes, such as spot metering, partial metering, centre-weighted average metering and evaluative metering. Experiment with depth of field and a host of other photographic techniques. Understand ISO settings and white balance and how these will affect your photos. Plus a quick look at Auto Exposure Bracketing
